JILL L. (COBLE) WIERWILLE MAY, age 75

of New Bremen, died on December 24, 2018 at 8:50 AM. at the Heritage Center in Minster where she had resided for the past few years. She was born on May 3, 1943 in Minster, the daughter the late Donald J. and Helen C. (Bretland) Coble. Survivors include her daughters and their husbands: Kelly (Dan) Brown of Miamisburg, Ohio, Jamie (Steve) Hanna of Surfside, California, and Janel (John) Schwartz of New Bremen, her grandchildren; Tony Brown, Cody (Candace) Brown, Kelly Arvizu, Zack Hanna, Caty (Kevin) Garcia, and Jessica (Matthew) Lomakin, her great-grandchildren; Dylan Brown, Harper Lomakin, Freddy and Michael Arvizu, as well as her sister Linda (Bill) Jones of Yorktown, Indiana.

Jill was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ in New Bremen, and always considered that to be her church home. She was a 1962 graduate of New Bremen High School, and was a homemaker while her girls were growing up. In later years, while living in California, she worked in retail as a personal shopper, and also in property management for high end real estate. Jill had a true love for New Bremen, which led to her becoming a charter member of the New Bremen Historic Association, and she also enjoyed collecting antiques. Jill had enjoyed spending time at the beach and reading but her true passion was her family. She loved spending time with her daughters, and especially with her grandchildren.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, December 30, 2018 from 2:00 until 4:00 P.M. at the Gilberg-Hartwig Funeral Home in New Bremen, where funeral services will be held at 4:00 P.M. with Pastor Dee Schroer officiating. Interment will take place on Monday, December 31, 2018 in the German Protestant Cemetery of New Bremen. Memorial contributions in memory of Jill can be made to the Memorial Fund at St. Paul United Church of Christ in New Bremen.
