Mary P. "Tish" Weinberg

Mary Patricia “Tish” Weinberg (March 20th 1950 – November 23rd, 2024) 

Our beloved mother passed away peacefully, with family by her side, after a long battle with multiple sclerosis. She was a devout Christian and devoted mother and grandmother. She instilled in her children a strong work ethic, devotion to family, respect and compassion for others, and most importantly our deep faith in The Lord Jesus Christ. She was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, and always a friend to those who needed friendship. God blessed us with her and now she lives in eternity with Him. 

She was born on March 20th, 1950 to Ruth (Makley) and Robert “Kit” Carson and was a 1968 graduate of Saint Mary’s Memorial High School. For many years, she was a member of the Saint Paul United Church of Christ in New Bremen, before moving to the Columbus, Ohio area to be closer to her children. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Robert “Bobby Joe” Carson, and her sister Darlene “Dolly” Carson. She is survived by her son Todd (Jennifer) Weinberg, daughter Kristi (Shelby) Payne, sisters Shari Hinman, Dottie (Bob) Stoffer, and Connie Nagel, as well as her loving grandchildren Will and Emma Weinberg. 

She was laid to rest at a private, family ceremony at Willow Grove Cemetery just outside New Bremen, Ohio. Memorial Contributions in memory of Tish can be made to St. Paul United Church of Christ in New Bremen.
