Stephanie N. Elliott

STEPHANIE N. ELLIOTT, age 26, 

Of Jacksonville, North Carolina, and formerly of New Bremen, died suddenly on Friday, December 6, 2024 at her home along with her unborn daughter, Seraphena Cruz. Stephanie was born on October 5, 1998 in St. Marys, the daughter of T. Patrick and Paula S. (Berning) Elliott who survive in New Bremen. Also surviving are her sister Amy Kanorr of St. Marys, and her niece and nephew: Bella and Brandon Kanorr. Also left to cherish her memory are her maternal grandfather Earl Berning of Sidney, her maternal grandmother Cheryl Morrison of St. Marys, and a large number of cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Oliver and Mildred Elliott. 

Stephanie was a 2017 graduate of New Bremen High School where she was involved in the high school choir. She was also a member of the Girl Scouts. As a true homebody at heart, Stephanie found solace and entertainment in the world of video games. She was a skilled player, always eager to challenge herself and connect with other gamers. She was especially close with her niece, Bella and enjoyed gaming with her as well. Stephanie will always be remembered for her unique ability to make everyone feel welcome and appreciated, her positive outlook on life, her kind heart, and her infectious smile that would light up a room. 

A service to celebrate Stephanie’s life will be held on Friday, December 20, 2024 in the Assembly Room of St. Paul United Church of Christ in New Bremen with a time of sharing to begin at 5:00 P.M. followed by a reception. In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorial contributions in memory of Stephanie can be made to charities of the donor’s choice or a tree could be planted in Stephanie’s name.
