Walt was a people-person and a hard worker his entire life as the Operations Manager for Campbell Soup, Vice President of Operations for Gilardi Foods and as a co-owner of Soak-n-Suds Car Wash. Whether tinkering around at home, or being a Master Gardener, he was always thinking and using his hands. He enjoyed dancing, listening to music, and reading (especially sci-fi novels), building bird houses, canning his home-grown produce, and he was also a computer wiz. There was nothing Walt couldn’t do, or fix, or build using his creative imagination. He will be remembered for his compassion for others, his love for life, and his love of pie.
