I am so sorry to hear this. So many good memories of Uncle Al and Aunt Janet. Time is truly a thief. Sending a big hug to all my cousins: Mike, Amy, Phillip and Michelle. If you don’t need it right now, keep it in your pocket until you do. Thank you, Pat, for keeping in touch with us for the last several years. It always brought a smile to our faces to hear from you. Bless you all.

Al was my high school math teacher at Arcadia Local school. He was my football and basketball coach as well. Later on I was a fellow math teacher with him in Birmingham. Many of the techniques that he used to develop our math skills, I put into practice as well. He was a good man and friend.

Al and Janet were such special friends and Al was a well loved member of our LCA family! In the classroom, he was a no nonsense teacher who made kids want to learn! He was tough, but those students loved and respected him! When I had cancer the first time, Janet along with Al helped keep me going and as I struggled with many issues! I could share my fears with them and they both just listened and gave me the greatest advice ever! Boy were they such fun to be with! RIP Al
