THERESA E. WILL, 90,
Of New Bremen, died at 9:41 p.m. on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at the Lima Memorial Hospital, Lima, OH. She was born on February 14, 1928 near Osgood, OH. the daughter of the late Frank and Anna (Winner) Poeppelman. On August 13, 1949, in Boise, ID, she married Wilbert A. Will who preceded her in death on November 10, 1997. Survivors include her children; Terry (Bonnie) Will of Charlotte, NC, Sandy (Rick) Meyer of Ft. Loramie, and Alan (Jolene) Will of Minster. Also surviving are her grandchildren; Stacy, Tiffany, Dan, Jason, Shaun, Carla, Justin, Kelly and Alex, thirteen great-grandchildren, her siblings Irene Prenger of Minster, Victor (Sylvia) Poeppelman of Texas, and Jean Ebert of Tennessee, and her in laws, Victor Baumer of Minster, Doris Will of Ft. Wayne, and Leroy and Linda Will of Ft. Wayne. Preceding her in death was her daughter Colleen Will, and her siblings, Caroline Cron, Alfrieda Puthoff, MaryAnn Baumer, Edwin Poeppelman, Amelia Poeppelman, Romilda Prenger, and Frank Peoppelman, Jr.

Theresa was a graduate of Minster High School. She was a member of the Church of the Holy Redeemer in New Bremen where she had helped with the funeral lunch committee for a number of years. She was an avid reader and also belonged to several card clubs in the area, always enjoying a good game of Bridge. She and her husband enjoyed traveling across the country and to several countries abroad. She retired from Crown Equipment Corp. of New Bremen on May 1, 1990 and was a member of the Crown 25 Year Club.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, December 28, 2018 at 10:30 A.M. at the Church of the Holy Redeemer in New Bremen with Rev. Fr. Thomas Dorn and Deacon Greg Bornhorst officiating. Burial will follow in the German Protestant Cemetery, New Bremen. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, December 27, 2018 from 4:00 until 7:00 P.M. at the Gilberg-Hartwig Funeral Home in New Bremen, and from 9:00 until 10:00 A.M. on Friday at the Church of the Holy Redeemer at which time the Rosary will be prayed. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Theresa can be made to the activity fund at Elmwood Assisted Living of New Bremen or to the American Heart Association. Services have been entrusted to the Gilberg-Hartwig Funeral Home in New Bremen, and condolences to the Will family can be left online at www.gilberghartwigfh.com.

    My sympathy to all of you. I think the last time I came in contact with your mother was probably when my brother, Bill and your sister, Colleen were involved in Auglaize Industries. I have many fond memories from those days and also from when you lived in our neighborhood. Savor those memories.
