JOAN M. WENNING age 90,
Formerly of New Bremen and a resident of the Vancrest of St. Marys, died on Tuesday, March 19, 2024. She was born on May 17, 1933 in Fort Recovery, OH. The daughter of the late Steve and Agnes (Fiely) Evers. On January 9, 1954, she married Ernest E. Wenning and he preceded her in death on April 17, 2013. Survivors include her daughter Phyllis Schwartz of New Bremen and son Mark (Nancy) Wenning of Bowling Green, OH. Also surviving are her grandchildren Ashley Wenning and Greg Wenning, both of Bowling Green, OH. Her son in law Werner Schwartz preceded her in death.
Joan was a member of the Church of the Holy Redeemer in New Bremen. She retired from Crown Equipment Corp. of New Bremen.

Private family services will be held with burial in the German Protestant Cemetery, New Bremen. In lieu of flowers or other items, the family requests that memorial contributions should be made to a local charity in Joan’s name.
