Loree A. Nedderman, age 100,
New Bremen, died peacefully on Thursday, September 23, 2021 at 4:53 P.M. at the Otterbein Senior Lifestyle Choices of St. Marys where she has been residing. She was born on May 8, 1921 at home in St. Marys Twp., the youngest of two daughters of the late Frank H. and Alice R. (Peterson) Doenges. On April 17, 1941, she married Virgil J. Nedderman, who died on December 22, 2001. She is survived by her children: Danny (Kathy) Nedderman, of New Bremen, Connie (Jerry) Temple of Celina, Linda (Dennis) Hainline of New Bremen, and Lonnie (Deb) Nedderman of Van Wert; fifteen grandchildren, thirty-one great grandchildren, and eight great-great grandchildren. Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son Larry Nedderman, two grandsons, her sister Norma (Edward) Bruns, and her in-laws Julitta Nedderman and David Nedderman.

Loree grew up near, and completed most of her schooling in New Bremen, but graduated from St. Marys Memorial High School in 1939. Her faith had been an important part of her life, and she took an active role as a member of both St. Paul United Church of Christ as well as St. Peter’s Church in New Bremen. She was a life-long dairy farmer and had also worked for The Buckeye in Celina, and baked pies for Koch’s Restaurant in St. Marys for many years. She always planted a large garden and canned the harvest with the help of her family. Loree had a love for sports of all kinds, and enjoyed watching her children and grandchildren participate in their various activities. Her family took many special trips to see Cincinnati Red’s baseball games over the years, and she also liked to watch sports on television. Her cooking and baking were always enjoyed by her family. She could play the spoons and was an excellent seamstress, but she especially enjoyed fishing and hunting, and she was known to be a great shot.
