Carol was an active member of Only Believe Church in Botkins, serving for nearly 40 years in numerous areas of ministry. She also loved gardening, baking bread, and sewing. She had been a seamstress at the former Zofkie’s Bridal and also did custom sewing and alterations from her home. It was her enjoyment of sewing that inspired her to open her own business, “Carol’s Coats of Many Colors,” where she designed, created and offered these at many events in the area. Carol lived her faith, offering encouragement from personal experiences through her Christ inspired products of “His Sand” based on the Scripture from Psalm 139:17-18. Carol was always excited to share her faith and love of Christ with others.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, December 2, 2022 beginning at 11:00 A.M. at the Only Believe Church, in Botkins, with Pastors Peter Doseck and Ed Ingram officiating. Interment will follow in the Pilger Ruhe Cemetery near New Knoxville. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, December 1, 2022 from 4:00 until 8:00 P.M. at Only Believe Church, and one hour prior to the services on Friday at the church. November 29, 2022 at 6:44 pmWe are so very sorry to hear of the passing of Carol. She is remembered by us as an incredible, mighty, loving woman of God. I have never forgotten the foot washing experience that Carol ministered to us and probably anyone that entered her home! She loved her children and family with all her might and her Christian witness to others…….a lasting legacy. She will be missed, but we will see her again. Wonder if she is sewing her heavenly robe? Maybe.
Love to all!
